Robert Bartleh Cummings aka Rob Zombie è un cantante, regista e attore statunitense, nonché fondatore della band White Zombie, sciolta più di un decennio fa.
Il titolo del suo nuovo lavoro (il sesto per la precisione) richiede più tempo per pronunciarlo che per l’intero ascolto del platter, ma è un altro prodotto con il suo stampo acid/industrial metal, un mix atomico di shock, horror e humour.
Dodici tracce con le quali Rob Zombie comunica con gli ascoltatori tramite interessanti ed imperscrutabili liriche ed un satanico sound alla Manson dei vecchi tempi (notiamo infatti che tra le file dei membri di supporto ci sono anche Piggy D., John 5 e Ginger Fish ex Marilyn Manson).
Si naviga in un kitsch che però può appagare se lo si prende per quello che è: una burla horror che strega e colpisce per il suo comportamento musicale che va a restaurare un po’ ciò che la scena dell’industrial metal è diventata al giorno d’oggi.
